We’re inviting all of our members (and their Trade guests) to the MWSA’s Annual General Meeting followed by our 119th Annual Members’ Lunch
We are excited to host the MWSA’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) followed by our 119th Annual Members’ Lunch in March at the University College Birmingham as per our long-dating tradition. Please join us from 10:30am for our AGM Council Meeting (have your say on what you want from the MWSA & get involved with the Council) followed by reception welcome drinks from 12:00 sponsor Hundred Hills English Vineyard, with us taking our seats around 12:30 for a delicious set 4 course meal and paired wines sponsored by Mentzendorff & 1485 Wines (let us know if you would like to sponsor a future event to showcase your wines to the network). There will be a speech from our Chair and our guest speaker from WSTA with informative information on the drinks industry at the moment. We’re also looking forward to hosting our raffle with some fantastic wines for you to win at £10 per strip as well as our traditional post-meal ‘Guess The Port’ game at £10 per entrance, with all proceeds going to our charity The Drinks Trust (previous years we’re delighted to have raised around £3000). We aim to finish around 4:00-4:30pm for guests with trains to catch.
