We’re inviting all of our members (and their Trade guests) to come discover more about spirits with a tour and tasting at a local midlands-based distillery

Nelson's Distillery & School is a multi-award-winning producer of fine craft spirits, known for crafting exclusive blends for high-profile personalities like Michel Roux Jr, Matt Tebbutt, and Roy Wood. Their unique creations include the fan-favourite Rhubarb & Custard Gin and the world's first Timur Gin. As the home of Nelson’s Gin, Vodka & Rum School, voted Staffordshire Experience of the Year 2024, they offer an immersive experience in the art of distillation. Located in our state-of-the-art distillery in Grindley, the school provides a dynamic and educational platform for both novices and aficionados to learn and create exceptional spirits.

Travel: on-site parking is available, or the closest train stations are Uttoxeter or Rugeley or Stafford followed by a taxi to the distillery. Aternatively we will also be organising a mini-bus from Birmingham for those interested (details TBC).
